Step 4: Enter Display details and click “Continue to Blogger.”

Step 6: On this screen, you need to enter a title for your blog. After the suitable title selection, you have to give an address (sub-domain) (like example.blogspot.com). If your blog address unavailable it means someone already using that address. You need to select the unique address for your blog.

Avoid using your personal name, symbols like hyphens, underscores, colons, etc. as the domain name. Instead, use some generic domain name that you can brand or promote later with a custom domain.

Step 8: You need to choose a blog theme (you can change it anytime) according to your choice or topic.

Step 9: Click on "Create Blog!" button.


Step 10: Click on the "Theme" option for customizing the look of your blog.

Step 11: Click on the “Customize” button. Make some changes to improve your blog’s visibility. After making the required changes click on “Apply to Blog.”

Step 12: Click on the “Settings” option. It allows you to adjust settings such as post, comment & language, whether you want to receive emails or want to include your blog in search engine preference or other etc.

Step 13: Click on "Layout" option You can also add a logo to the header of your BlogSpot blog, and add or remove various other feature.

Step 14: Click on "Layout" option Go to Header Click on Edit (Pencil Image) then Choose the image for a logo.

After all the steps you can start to write a new post.

But before you write your first post, I would recommend that you go to “Pages” and create at least one “About Us” page describing who you are and what your blog is related to.

Creating a Post:-

Step 1: Click on "New Post".

Step 2: Enter a post Title.


Step 3: Click on "Compose" then start writing your blog post.

Step 4: Click on “Preview” to see how your post looks like.

Step 5: Click on “Publish” to make your post live for your viewers.


Once you have some blog posts up and running, you can go to “Earnings” and enable Google Adsense for your blog. This will allow you to generate revenue from your free BlogSpot blog.
